Job Title: Worldwide Market Intelligence and Data Analyst, KI

Job Duties : Job is located in Des Moines, Iowa. Occasional telecommuting permitted .

Responsibilities

Subject Matter Expert for human Food Technology, Textiles, and Crop Technology (20%): Proactively conducts extensive competitive market research for human Food Technology, Textiles, and Crop Technology business units worldwide, such as technical literature searches, product comparisons, and industry analysis; Studies market conditions to examine potential product sales for various business units worldwide; Compiles valuable quantitative and qualitative competitive data from numerous research databases, including Euromonitor database and Innova Insights, on current or new products in the marketplace, market potential and trends, and cost; Analyzes and accurately interprets key data before making recommendations based on the findings; Conducts early-stage merger, alliance and/or acquisition analysis, including detailed market assessments for exploratory or acquisition area; and Conducts basic market research to determine market share and other relevant business environment indicators and monitors competitive environment, including competitor products and product reviews. Qualitative Reports (15%): Performs extensive market research data analysis focusing on industry macrotrends and impact, while evaluating competitive information and integrated marketing strategies, product offerings, pricing patterns, and development plans; Monitors competitive products and market share, sales and marketing activities, and profitability; and develops category knowledge and understanding to provide useful analysis; Provides timely, accurate, and relevant information, including forecasts marketing and sales trends, to leadership and business units’ commercial teams worldwide; and Prepares reports and visualizes data findings utilizing Microsoft Power Point. Global Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey Management (25%): Develops and standardizes the questions within the Customer Satisfaction Survey Management, and develops Power Business Intelligence dashboard for viewing results; Performs full analysis of all global responses from business units worldwide individually and collectively for Kemin’s executive leadership team; Consolidates key findings and makes presentations on the recommendations to business units worldwide and Kemin’s executive leadership team; and Accurately presents findings in an appropriate and timely manner to allow the management team to make critical decisions based on key research data. Financial & Quantitative Reporting (20%): Performs benchmarking and business, market, and economic analysis; Conducts financial analysis and reporting, including market analysis, sales and revenue forecasting, customer retention, and business performance metrics, and submits activity reports, for each business unit worldwide; Assists in the identification and qualification of product/marketing opportunities by performing project value reporting for all business units and industries within Kemin; and Prepares reports and visualizes data findings utilizing Microsoft Excel. Management of Kemin Resources and Harmonizing Market Intelligence (20%): Performs additional survey management including creation, collection, and analysis of corporate qualitative and quantitative data; Educates worldwide marketing teams on utilization of market research resources and collaborate with business units to produce customized reports; Manages timelines and market research analysis projects through the organization and maintenance of key information in research database, or electronic document management system, including critically evaluating and filtering content; and Manages relationships with vendors, including subscription research providers, and acts as a liaison for the department, tracking and shepherding projects from the beginning to conclusion and works with cross-functional teams to support business efforts. Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing , or a closely related field, plus three (3) years of related work experience as a Market Research Analyst, Marketing Specialist, or a closely related position with similar duties under a different job title. Three (3) years of experience to include: Conducting market research, and Collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, including at least twenty-four (24) months of experience in: Utilizing Euromonitor and Innova Insights research databases; Utilizing survey tools, such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, and Survey Sparrow; Developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies and communication plans; and Compiling and visualizing analyzed data utilizing Microsoft Excel and Power Point, and presenting findings through reports and presentations.
