Riot Games, Inc. seeks Systems Engineer in Des Moines, WA. Job Duties: Contributes to achieving team goals by performing day to day feature development on moderate or large scope tasks. Developing an understanding of engineering excellence and non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, maintainability, and resilience. Consistently demonstrates engineering excellence through writing excellent code that adheres to team best practices. Deploy and manage physical servers within Riot Datacenters. Deploy and manage resources within cloud service providers. Create and maintain automation that orchestrates management of compute devices. Respond to emerging events. Mentors more junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming. May suggest improvements to how the team operates. This position is based out of Riot Games, Inc.'s office in Des Moines, WA. Telecommuting is permitted within commutable distance of this location. Periodic on-site attendance will be required. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems or a related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering, program analysis or related relative field.
