Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to inspect incoming and outgoing parts, articles, materials, and documents ensuring compliance with FAA guidelines. Responsibilities include assembling kits, maintaining shipment tracking via SAP, measuring parts using micrometers and calipers, and documenting non-conformities. The role entails up to 200 parts inspections per day, along with significant documentation responsibilities. Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Des Plaines, Illinois.

Work Environment

The position is based in a warehouse where you will primarily be stationed at a work desk, either sitting or standing, performing quality inspections and documentation tasks. The warehouse environment can become very warm during hot weather. The role is on the 2nd shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with a 40-hour work week, transitioning to overtime availability after 2-3 months of training. You will be part of a department of approximately 40 people, divided into teams focusing on inbound and outbound activities.
