This position offers a hybrid remote work environment, with the flexibility to work from home and the requirement to be on-site as needed for team meetings and collaboration. The Staff Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the scheduling of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) across multiple locations. This role ensures that provider schedules are optimized to meet patient demand while adhering to organizational staffing guidelines.Responsibilities: Develop and manage schedules for physicians and APPs, ensuring appropriate coverage across all shifts and clinics. Collaborate with department heads and providers to adjust schedules based on operational needs and provider availability.Utilize Qgenda or other scheduling software to build, update, and maintain schedules.Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and resolve last-minute changes, such as vacation coverage, sick days, or emergencies.Communicate schedule changes effectively to providers and relevant teams.Monitor and report scheduling metrics to improve efficiency and minimize gaps in coverage.Qualifications: Previous experience in healthcare staff scheduling.Proficiency in Qgenda or similar scheduling software is preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
