The SI Director reports to the Senior Director for the East Region and is accountable for the deployment and integration of the Motorola Solutions products portfolio within the territory. Success is measured in terms of customer satisfaction, revenue growth, gross margin performance, cash collections, and people talent management and development.Job Description
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
Manage the System Integration business, with responsibility for financial forecasting accuracy and delivering against revenue, margin and cash goals.
Accountable for hiring, mentoring, Talent and Performance Management, and rewards and merit planning.
Allocates resources to meet project objectives, corporate financial goals and customer satisfaction.
Works closely with the Territory Vice President and Account Execs to ensure coordination and prioritization of customer deliverables and financial commitments.
Ensures defined business processes and best practices are adhered to by all team members.
Works closely with pre-sales to review proposals, providing guidance and approvals for project scope, cost and schedules.
Responsible for meeting regional utilization and productivity goals of resources.
Interfaces with Senior Customer Executives building close relationships and resolving complex project and contractual issues.
Works closely with leadership from central resource and support teams to fulfill all project deliverables and provide input on areas for improvement.
Identifies and approves use of 3rd party sub-contractors, measuring performance and quality across the region.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
Experience in managing and leading professional project managers, engineers and 3rd party contracting staff.
Experience with at least one of the following: Public Safety Communications Systems, Cellular Infrastructure, Military Communications, Civil Construction or IT Networks.
PMP/PMI certification is a plus.
Experience interfacing and negotiating with both external and internal senior executives.
Leads complex communications and negotiations with internal or external clients to resolve disputes and agree mutually acceptable outcomes.
Ability to work collaboratively with regional and territorial senior management.
Drives strategic relationships between internal and external teams.
Responsible for direct communication to relevant senior stakeholders.
Represents the organization at regional events
Experience communicating strategy and value propositions to both internal and external groups.
