What you'll do In this important role on the AlixPartners' Corporate Services (CRS) team, you will work with the Strategic Staffing team on staffing coordination, project support, and related activities for the Americas offices. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to satisfy the people-focused demands of our fast-paced, high-growth firm. The Resource Management Coordinator, known internally as the Strategic Staffing Professional, will report to the Strategic Staffing Director - Americas. This full-time position is in our Southfield, MI office. Paid relocation is not available for this position. Staff Allocation Coordination: Monitor project staffing needs and work with the team to coordinate the assignment of consultants to ensure optimal utilization of resources. Database Management: Maintain and update staffing database within appropriate workforce planning tools. Collaboration: Work closely with the staffing team and internal leaders to understand staffing requirements and provide recommendations for suitable candidates. Reporting: Generate staffing reports and utilization metrics to analyze trends and improve visibility/accuracy within staffing. Onboarding: Work with the new hires on staffing process and support as they join the firm and get up to speed. Mailbox Maintenance: Work with the staffing team to keep the staffing inbox updated and requests answered in a timely manner. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline staffing processes and improve efficiency. Temporary Service Providers: Work closely with the TSP Office on the engagement of temporary service providers in support of client and corporate teams. Additional responsibilities as identified. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree preferred, with preference for Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum one (1) year of professional experience required. Previous experience in resource management/staffing, HR coordination, or related is preferred. Excellent organizational and multitasking skill with high attention to detail. MS Office proficiency with intermediate/advanced Excel skills preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues under tight deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for providing exemplary customer service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise. Ability to in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
