The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a Retail Intern to join our team for the 2025 baseball season at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan. As a Retail Intern, you will assist the management team with training and scheduling team members. On event days, you will help the team with retail store operations, including inventory management and customer assistance.

What will you do?

• Assist with training new retail cashiers

• Coordinate team member scheduling on event days and track attendance

• Support with team member check-in on event days

• Assist with any customer service issues or any questions guests may have

• Help management with daily or monthly inventory counts for retail merchandise

• Perform end of event tasks, including the closing of kiosks and retail transaction reports

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

• Constant lifting, twisting, reaching, bending, and repetitive motions
