Description We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst specializing in ESG Reporting to join our team in the manufacturing industry located in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves integrating ESG reporting into our financial reporting structure, maintaining knowledge of global ESG frameworks, and ensuring compliance across all departments. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sustainability department and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development and implementation of ESG reporting strategy

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory developments, global ESG frameworks, and industry best practices

• Ensure ESG reporting compliance across all departments and locations

• Collaborate with the Sustainability department to align strategic objectives for various ESG projects and initiatives

• Work with cross-functional teams to collect accurate ESG data and develop project plans for ESG reporting readiness

• Identify gaps in ESG reporting and communicate effectively with senior leadership and other stakeholders

• Design, implement, and monitor an internal control framework for ESG data collection and reporting processes

• Handle complex financial analysis and financial modeling

• Utilize accounting software systems and data mining techniques for efficient execution of accounting functions

• Participate in budget processes and other duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Must have experience with Data Mining Techniques.

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions is required.

• Prior experience with Budget Processes is necessary.

• Ability to conduct Complex Financial Analysis is crucial.

• Proficiency in Financial Modeling is required.
