Description Well-established manufacturing firm in Dexter, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist, responsible for managing both our accounts payable and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate must possess excellent Excel skills, efficient invoice management capacity, and the ability to assist with payroll. This is a long-term opportunity. Working Hours: Monday - Friday, from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. FULLY ONSITE. Only those who meet the qualifications will be considered.

Responsibilities:

Administer all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable

Promptly and accurately input, code, and verify invoices

Maintain regular communication with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely follow up on payments and discrepancies

Provide assistance in payroll management as required

Create, analyze, and present financial reports on a regular basis

Adhere to, enforce, and streamline policies and procedures

Perform ad hoc financial analysis and participate in financial audits

Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in both accounts payable and accounts receivable

Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and other financial software

Strong numeral skills, attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information

Proven ability to meet deadlines

Reliable with a dedication to punctuality

Strong organization, problem-solving and communication skills
