– The Contractor shall provide a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator that is qualified, competent and experienced in Automotive Fleet maintenance. This individual will ensure the fleet is maintained per OEM Bus and component manufactures SOC schedules. Additionally, the Maintenance Coordinator shall ensure statutory requirements are met, approve repairs, schedule repairs, expedite repairs, provide daily OOS reporting updates, process accident damage claims, maintain vehicle files, and inspect the Fleet for Quality Assurance.

The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible, qualified and competent in automotive fleet maintenance.

The job duties will include:

  • Ensure the fleet is maintained per OEM and up-fitter SOC schedules.

  • Ensure statutory requirements are met.

  • Schedule, expedite and approve repairs.

  • Provide daily OOS (out of service) reporting updates as well as any future reporting required to DFW Technical Representative or designee and ABM Management Staff.

  • Maintain fleet vehicle files.

  • Inspect the fleet for quality assurance.

  • Responsible for the preparation and evaluation of the monthly Repair and Maintenance billing and providing the required management reports as directed by DFW Airport and its Procurement Department, and ABM Management Staff.

  • Review, process and approve all repair orders to ensure warranty work is completed at no (or appropriate) expense, ensure no double billing occurs and identify redundant repairs to ensure they completed as warranty work.

  • Assure the timely submission of required operational and administrative reports to designated DFW Airport management, Regional Manager and ABM Management Staff., regarding pertinent shuttle operation activities.

  • Conduct shuttle inspections on a frequent basis, advising our maintenance provider of any required needs to preserve the safety, performance, and appearance our fleet. Also conduct bus supplementary equipment inspections (i.e. SmartDrive, Zonar, Ride Systems, etc.) on a frequent basis, advising General Manager and appropriate vendor of any required needs.

  • Maintain close liaison with the General Manager on all aspects Fleet Maintenance, daily, advising of any problems encountered or anticipated which should be discussed and resolved.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger endorsements and air brakes

  • 1 to 2 years of experience
