Supply Chain Planning Analyst II, Inventory Planning

The Supply Chain Planning Analyst II, Inventory Planning is responsible for develop and implement strategic inventory and planning models to support customer demand. The candidate for this position must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving the strategy objectives in a fast paced environment and be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management. This role will drive inventory & planning information systems development, continuous improvement to optimize production outputs to lead daily operational plan. This position works closely with Manufacturing, Operations, S&OP, Raw Materials, Purchasing, Sales, Transportation and Customer Service to create and maintain the inventory policies that ensures customer delivery and quality requirements are achieved.

Essential Functions

  • Create, review and revise inventory policies/plans to support the customer needs, bringing flexibility and operational guidance to the business in the most cost-efficient way.

  • Develop and implement different inventory models on Finish Goods and Raw materials to optimize the product flow, maximizing the operation efficiency at the same time.

  • Translate and navigates projected forecasts (S&OP), sales demand and manufacturing builds into inventory policies to protect seasonal demands.

  • Develop inventory optimization strategies and present to different supply chain teams.

  • Monitor and adjust the inventory policies to meet changing customer needs and ensure connection with finish goods and raw material requirements.

  • Review, manage and lead discussions about SKU and categories inventory performance vs plan to meet current flexibility strategies.

  • Recommend production frequencies and Lot sizes (EoQ) and solutions to meet the demand plan.

  • Serve as an effective liaison among other functional departments within the organization.

  • Work with cross-functional partners to continuously improve the end to end inventory platform

  • Utilize system reports as well as experience and judgment to propose improvement to the inventory models and ways of work.

  • Continuous Ad-hoc Analysis for Core, Beverage, and Specialty planning to drive initiatives.

  • Assist in Regional projects with Planning Managers and other functions.

  • Have 3+ years of planning and inventory experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment

  • 2 Years – Experience in Position

  • 2 Years – Experience managing people/projects

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Knowledge of Python, PowerBi, or similar coding/platform

    *experience may include a combination of work experience and education

  • List if any travel is required using percentage of time:

  • 10% - on average travels 2 week out of the Year

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment

  • 4 Years – Experience working in Position

  • 4 Years – Experience managing people/projects

Education

  • Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain or other related field

  • Preferred:

  • Master's Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain or other related field

$77,796.00 - $112,805.00 / Yearly
