Job Posting Summary

The Office of Institutional Research is seeking a student worker for the spring semester.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning data to prepare for analysis.

  • Conducting original analyses using Excel, Python, and Tableau.

  • Meeting with data consumers to understand user experience.

  • Improving dashboards and published reports drawing on feedback from users.

This role gives students the opportunity to become familiar with the practices and tools they will use in business, computer science, or elsewhere.

Applications open to current Mercy University students. The role will require once-a-week attendance at the Tarrytown Office on a schedule to be determined.

Compensation offered will be commensurate with the educational background and work experience of the individual.

Mercy University promotes a community campus environment. As a result, employment is limited to the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Applicants outside of those states or the USA will be required to relocate. Relocation assistance may be provided for eligible moves.
