Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year, with the possibility of extending into the 2024-2025 school year. This position is located within a welcoming and community-oriented early childhood center in Dolton, where the commitment to support both staff and students is paramount. Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to assess speech needs and growth areas for early childhood students
Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to preschool students
Assist in developing students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with teachers and staff to address students' speech and language needs
Observe students, collect data, and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Conduct training on communication disorders for staff and the community
Perform additional assigned duties
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
