Description: The Shipping and Receiving Associate will accept and process inbound shipments. Verify delivered items, unload trucks, ensure items are stored correctly, and process returns. Loads outbound trucks to instruction specification and securely to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials. Ultimately, should be able to ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes and promptly resolve any problems or discrepancies. Loading outbound trucks and unloading inbound trucks.

As shipments of new lumber come into the yard, team members unload trucks, organizes and storing received items in appropriate areas.

Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.

Inspects all incoming products for damage.

Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.

Receives loading instructions, then loads trucks and verifies the accuracy of lumber materials to be delivered. Providing safe and timely loading.

Responsible for maintaining professional attitude, good conduct, and appearance.
