SCHOOL BUS AIDE: Dothan City Schools

Responsibilities:

Working under the supervision of the School Bus Driver/ School District employee will assist in maintaining safe and comfortable transportation for assigned students to and from designated stops.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

· While performing the duties of this job, the KE School Bus Aide may be required to sit for regular periods of time and/or be confined to smaller spaces.

· The KE School Bus Aide must be able to move swiftly and navigate stairs.

· The KE School Bus Aide frequently is required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.

· KE School Bus Aide must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision.
