Position Summary

The Technical Support Administrator II is responsible for maintenance and support of all information systems services from a client endpoint and server system scope. This includes individual client incident management and resolution, system incident management and resolution as assigned, server administration and virtual client / server application delivery service administration. Additional responsibilities include backup / recovery services, high availability, disaster recovery maintenance and incident response, and clear professional documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)

Maintenance and support of endpoint client machines and services, including cloud and on-premises services. Maintenance and support of systems infrastructure as assigned, including hardware infrastructure, VMware virtual machines, Microsoft Windows servers, and Citrix XenApp.

Collaborate with network and system administrators to identify performance, capacity needs, and resiliency particularly as these relate to endpoint client machines and services.

Collaborate with IT staff in the evaluation of new software and hardware systems.

iSeries support and troubleshooting (including printer and application-level support)

Help design and manage the information systems backup / recovery and disaster recovery plans for the enterprise.

Ability to administer and maintain 3rd party solutions as it relates to the operation and support of the enterprise.

Management of IT Assets: endpoint, server, and network equipment.

Security patching of endpoint devices and ensuring equipment is at proper security levels
