Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Financial Administrator in the education industry, located in Dover, Delaware. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting educators with grants and budgeting, creating budgets, and providing information and explanations regarding awarded grants.

Responsibilities:

• Assist educators in understanding and managing grants and budgeting

• Attend and participate in meetings to review grants

• Create and manage budgets according to documents

• Provide information and explanations to educators regarding awarded grants

• Make journal entry adjustments as necessary

• Assist educators in staying within budget

• Handle invoicing tasks efficiently

• Use skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and Grant Administration to carry out tasks effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Administrator or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Billing and Invoice Processing is required

• Strong skills in Data Entry and the ability to handle large volumes of data

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to use advanced functions

• Experience in Grant Administration is necessary

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field is preferred

• Familiarity with financial regulations is a plus.
