This is a dual tech Sonographer and CT or MR

Position will train at other Mount Carmel locations until Dublin Hospital is completed.

About Mount Carmel Dublin:

Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services provided:

  • 24-bay emergency department

  • 60 acute inpatient beds

  • 4 operating rooms

  • Level 1 cardiac capability

  • Advanced imaging, and other outpatient testing

  • Attached MOB

The attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for:

  • Primary Care

  • Neurology

  • Cardiology

  • Vascular

  • Other independent specialists

Mount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.

This position will be hired to staff Mount Carmel Dublin. While construction is underway, the majority of training will take place at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s located at 500 S Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. We are expecting Mount Carmel Dublin to open Spring of 2025.

About the job:

Multi-Modality Nuclear Medicine Technologis t performs a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality, utilizing radioactive materials, and compliant with regulatory guidelines. This position will also perform additional imaging modalities based on certification, competencies and/or licensure in CT, MRI or General Xray.

What you will do:

  • Provides patient care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives, and exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards.

  • Performs a variety of exams and experienced in at least one modality with minor experience in another or willing to be trained based on licensure

  • Performs a variety of CT / MRI procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.

  • Performs a variety of Nuclear Medicine exams with little supervision consistent with optimal imaging quality and policy

  • Responsible for accurate documentation in the Nuclear Medicine information System for radiation safety and RAM documentation for ODH requirements

  • Responsible for adhering and monitoring the area per radiation safety policy and protocols.

  • Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy. Ensures a high level of accuracy

What we are looking for:

  • Education: Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program

  • License / Certification: Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (N) (ARRT), or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Valid State Of Ohio Radiological License required.

  • Valid State of Ohio General X-ray Machine Operator License in the following modules required at the time of hire: Chest/Abdomen, Extremity, Skull-Sinuses, Spine, and Podiatric or willing to achieve within 3 months of hire; OR Licensed to perform CT in the state of Ohio and able/willing to obtain competencies to support modality imaging; OR Competent to perform MRI imaging or ability to obtain competency within 6 months of hire to support modality imaging.

  • Experience: Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred; Prior experience in MRI or CT preferred

  • Effective Communication Skills

  • Current CPR certification required.

  • Able to perform professional duties with minimal supervision
