American CyberSystems Inc Specialist, HR Service Center in Dublin, Ohio

Position type: Contract. Duration: 2 months Contract (Possible Extension) Location: Columbus, OH Job Requirements: As a Specialist, HR Operations, you will Working on a project specific to collecting and processing I-9 documents. Experience with I-9 processes and practices. Acts as escalation point for employee inquiries not resolved by our vendors. What the HR Service Center contributes: The myHR Service Center team is responsible for general employee inquiries, management & maintenance of employee data, and efficiency of HR data transactions and processes. Our mission is to drive frictionless experience by providing optimal solutions and support for our customers. What HR Operations contributes: HR Operations is responsible for the administration and efficiency of HR data transactions, processes, audits, and calculations and managing internal programs and projects. * Uses knowledge of HR processes, technologies, and controls framework to initiate and/or complete routine employee data transactions and to monitor, audit and ensure data integrity. * Defines and executes foundational data changes related to organizational changes. * Identifies root cause, evaluates impacts and develops solutions for data and process breakdowns. * Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for new and/or modified HR programs impacting employee data requirements. * Demonstrates knowledge of program/ project management practices, solutions, and technologies as well as change management and business process. Accountabilities * Responsible for managing the I-9 process for all U.S. and Puerto Rico new hires. * Required documentation review and oversight to ensure valid and compliant. * Entry of I-9 information into vendor system to process through E-Verify * Monitor GMB for remote hire documentation. * Monitor HR Service Now for inquiries regarding I-9 processing. * Partner with Vendor and other HR Service Center teammates to evaluate continuous improvement opportunities in the I-9 space that focus on improved customer experience and compliance. * Processes weekly I-9 audit to monitor compliance. * Manages escalations with Managers and HR business partners related to past due I-9 completion. * Processes employee personal data changes in the Human Capital Management system (Workday), as needed. * Supports HR Service Center teammates on, as needed, on escalated I9 inquiries. * Process I-9 records into a data storage solution. Qualifications * Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred. * 1+ years' experience in related field * Experience with supporting I-9 related inquiries preferred. * Uncompromising commitment to client and customer satisfaction * Demonstrated ability to manage escalated customer situations. * Knowledge and experience with HR systems (Service Now, Workday etc.) * Critical eye for detail and appreciation for data accuracy and integrity * Demonstrated continuous improvement focus and skillset. * Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with both customers and team members.
