About Mount Carmel Dublin:

Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services provided:

  • 24-bay emergency department

  • 60 acute inpatient beds

  • 4 operating rooms

  • Level 1 cardiac capability

  • Advanced imaging, and other outpatient testing

  • Attached MOB

The attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for:

  • Primary Care

  • Neurology

  • Cardiology

  • Vascular

  • Other independent specialists

Mount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.

This position will be hired to staff Mount Carmel Dublin. While construction is underway, the majority of training will take place at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s located at 500 S Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. We are expecting Mount Carmel Dublin to open Spring of 2025.

About the job:

The Supervisor for Imaging and Interventional Services, serves as the front line leader to plan, organize, staff, direct and insure collaborative multidisciplinary patient care delivery across numerous departments Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization. Works collaboratively with physicians and service line leaders in developing programs and patient care services. Coordinates and integrates interdepartmental and intradepartmental services. Responsible for total manpower supervision for all personnel in the invasive and diagnostic areas. Responsible for financial, supply, equipment control and cost-containment in the diagnostic and interventional services. Practices within the scope of current nursing or radiology tech guidelines and approved policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality in all situations involving Mount Carmel Health systems, customers, employees, and stakeholders.

About the Unit:

Mount Carmel Dublin’s Cardiovascular interventional procedural Department is a mixture of Emergency Department patients, outpatient diagnostic testing and inpatient imaging exams with a wide array of medical diagnoses. The unit will have interventional radiology, Cath Lab, and EP lab procedure availability. Our approach will empower colleagues to expand their skills and support multiple modalities to help support the department as a whole. As the department evolves and facility expands, a commitment to colleague growth and development will remain foundational to our future success. We envision a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on exceptional patient experience and evidence-based care.

What you will do:

  • Provides patient care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards.

  • Performs a variety of diagnostic procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.

  • Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy, ensuring a high level of accuracy.

  • Participates in On-Call coverage as applicable.

  • Attends in-service programs and departments meetings.

  • Follows guidelines for Radiation Safety as outlined in MCHS Radiation Safety Policy Manual.

What we are looking for:

  • Education: Graduate of approved Radiologic Technology Program

  • Licensure / Certification: Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid State of Ohio Radiological license required.

  • Experience: Minimum of two years experience as a staff radiographer required.

  • Prior work experience in a hospital environment, specifically in fluoroscopic and emergency services. Recent and relevant supervisory experience in Diagnostic Radiology, preferred.

  • Current CPR certification required.
