Control Panel Packing Specialist

Department: Panel Shop

Location: Duluth, GA

About the role:

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Control Panel Packing Specialist to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role is responsible for packing of control panels prior to crating.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Visually inspects control panels, cleans and performs an paint touch ups, following company standards.

  • Installs final elements - cages, side panels, grounding wires.

  • Documents the final look of panels taking pictures and storing them in the system.

  • Wraps control panels per company standards.

  • Maintains shipping log.

  • Builds crates for electric panels and takes measurements.

  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education:

  • No education required. HS diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent is preferred.

Knowledge / training:

  • Knowledge of company quality standards and procedures, including safety.

  • Identification of operating software.

  • Cleaning and paint products.

  • Basic Power tools knowledge (power drills, power screwdrivers, etc.).

Experience:

  • 1+ years of relevant experience.
