Essentia Health Leave of Absence Representative II in Duluth, Minnesota
Job Description:
This position administers Essentia leave of absence programs to ensure compliance with federal and state leave of absence requirements, ADAAA, Essentia Health policies and procedures, and collective bargaining agreements. Coordinates and partners with Legal, HR Service Center, Employee Labor Relations, HR Business Partners, Workers Comp and other departments as required. The position also develops and presents training programs and completes projects relating to leaves of absence, ADAAA, the return to work process, STD/LTD programs and job accommodations. Creates and distributes leave of absence documents regarding FMLA, employment status and any other leave of absence communication. Communicates work restriction notifications to management and coordinates the interactive process when necessary.

Associates Degree
Experience in Human Resources (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with leave of absence, benefits, or disability administration

Pay Range
$22.77 - $34.15 / hour
The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
