Essentia Health Duluth Children’s Hospital , a member of Essential Health, is the region’s largest provider of pediatric care. With 12 outpatient Pediatricians, 2 NPs, and many pediatric subspecialists on staff, including Hospital Medicine, PICU, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, PM&R, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Orthopedics, we are able to care for the area’s most critically ill infants and children. Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

We are seeking a 1.0 FTE and one casual, Pediatric Gastroenterologist in Duluth, MN, to join our growing team.

The Pediatric Gastroenterologist will:

  • Partner with our current, full-time, Pediatric GI physician and support staff to grow services

  • Perform a full spectrum of Endoscopy procedures in Essentia’s state-of-the-art Digestive Health Center

  • Rotate call with partner

  • Partner on all GI hospital admissions with acute care Pediatric Hospitalists and Intensivists who service as primary

  • Be supported by child-life specialists and other services uniquely designed for children and adolescents

  • Join a robust pediatric subspecialty team as we continue to expand and grow services throughout our region

  • Treat patients/families coming from an area that includes North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan.

Salary

$175.00 an hour. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
