Regional Facilities Technician Traveling required Our Regional Facilities Technician position is responsible for building and grounds maintenance, and custodial care. Maintains operating condition of facilities, equipment, and completes simple repairs. Utilizes knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or heating and cooling skills in performing assignments. Includes facility improvement, new or existing office space needs and working with vendors, suppliers, and consultants, as well as gardening, custodial, janitorial, roofing, generators, flooring, lighting, painting, parking structure, and all equipment. Responsibilities Analyzes and solves maintenance problems, monitors maintenance performance, investigates unusual trends, and recommends necessary adjustments for facilities, grounds, and vehicles. Monitors and conducts building maintenance and cleaning projects, internally and externally (outside contractors) to ensure timeliness, correctness, and completion using annual maintenance schedule/calendar. Responds to calls during emergency situations, evaluating building damage and taking necessary steps to protect credit union property. Manages bid/request for proposal process for equipment, service and projects and prepares time and cost estimates on proposed projects. Assists with security and surveillance audit and other duties. Maintains due diligence records with contract and vendor information.
