JOB SUMMARY: This position will be expected to work in all areas of loan administration and focus on processing paid out loans and preparing lien releases of collateral and other related paperwork, process payment books, and assist/backup researching credit bureau disputes, invoices and related bank checking accounts for unclaimed property submission.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Processing paid-out loans and preparing lien release of collateral and other related paperwork and process payment books.
  • Preparation of Loan Committee and Executive Committee packets and preparing minutes of Loan Committee.
  • Review the Scanning and D-Audit folders daily from previous day to verify accuracy.
  • Assist and back up the research and processing weekly credit bureau disputes.
  • Assist and back up the research and prepare credit bureau corrections.
  • Assist and back up the transmitting of monthly; Credit Bureau Reporting.
  • Assist and back up the research, review and prepare monthly report of credit bureau invoices.
  • Assist and back up the researching of related bank checking accounts for unclaimed property submission.
  • Assist and back up balancing specific loan related general ledger accounts and review loan balancing reports on a daily basis. Preparing loan related entries---General ledger, etc. and balancing specific DDA accounts and miscellaneous reports on a daily and monthly basis (VSI, Banking Center Official Checks, Gap, Duncan A&R, Flood account , Doc Fees, Misc DDA reconcilements, SBA Reports and Etc.).
  • Assist and back up the managing of Credit Life Insurance policies; forward policies to company; prepare weekly and monthly reconcilements reports and etc. Direct all death and disability claim processing.
  • Assist and back up the preparing entries on Charge-offs and Non-accruals
  • Assist and back up Loan Administration positions in editing loan files.
  • Research information as requested
  • Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards
  • Effectively work and cooperate with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
  • Follow directions from supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • High School Education and 3 years banking experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous banking experience in areas of lending or equivalent of education and knowledge preferred.
  • Clerical, administrative and customers service skills required.
  • Proficient computer skills including Windows Applications, MS Word, MS Excel, 10 key, and typing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:
  • Sitting and talking for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual ac ity.
  • Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).
  • Driving to client locations and other sites as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment.
