Robert Half Employee Relations Manager (Contract Remote) in Dunwoody, Georgia

Description

Robert Half HR Solutions is currently sourcing for a contract Employee Relations Manager for our client with an international presence. The HR Manager resides in Atlanta so candidates who live in the Eastern Time zone will be given first consideration. This is handling employee relations in a remote working environment and for an international employee population. Only candidates who have handled employee relations in the US and Latin America can be considered at this time. If a candidate also has EMEA employee relations experience that will be preferred, but not required.

This role will start in Sept 2024 and is expected to last between 60-120 days. This role is fully remote based.

Responsibilities:

• Guide and assist employee relations for workers based in the US and Latin America.

• Provide advice and support to remote teams on HR policies, industrial relations, statutory requirements, compensation & benefits, performance management, and recruitment strategies.

• Take the lead in resolving difficult conversations with employees and management, investigating employee complaints and concerns, offering possible solutions, and recommending appropriate action steps.

• Handle and maintain documentation for thorough investigations and develop action plans to resolve employee concerns and complaints.

• Educate employees about their rights, responsibilities, codes of conduct, and other HR policies to maintain a healthy and positive working environment.

• Collaborate closely with the HR team to develop, revise, implement, and interpret company policies and procedures.

• Monitor legislative changes related to employment laws in the US and Latin America and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.

Requirements • Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role within the Hi Tech Engineering industry

• Proven track record in Employee Relations

• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proactive with the ability to foresee potential issues and provide effective solutions

• High degree of professional integrity and confidentiality

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Excellent leadership and team management skills

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
