Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Timekeeping Manager in Durant, Oklahoma

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The HR Timekeeping Manager oversees a team or teams which may include Timekeeping Supervisors, Timekeeping Analyst and Site Timekeepers. You will report to the Senior Director of Learning & Organizational Development.

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will develop a functional and efficient timekeeping team to achieve agreed to goals.

  2. Manage Kronos/Timekeeping processes that promote efficient workflow and streamlined processes.

  3. Lead projects for Timekeeping change projects.

  4. Collaborate with business leaders to identify strategic technology needs and offer guidance based on industry trends to better support our goals.

  5. Understand long-term goals and suggest strategies to meet those goals; introduce innovation to business processes through technology.

  6. Develop new business processes, diagnoses problems with an organization’s current methodology, redesigns processes to improve efficiency, and monitors processes to ensure they are effective.

  7. Conduct needs analysis, organizational readiness assessments, and impact analysis to identify opportunities to link processes.

  8. Provide expertise and perform required job tasks on urgent, high profile, and projects to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  9. Mentor and establish goals for the Timekeeping team.

  10. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or 4 years related experience.

  • Computer proficiency: Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Fundamental knowledge of timekeeping laws and procedures

  • Ability to maintain confidential information and operate in sensitive areas

  • Ability to interpret and explain major business issues

  • 2 years prior management experience

  • 5 years progressive work experience timekeeping system, Kronos experience
