Actalent Automation Engineer in Durham, North Carolina
Job Title: Automation EngineerJob Description
As an Automation Engineer, you will use your proven knowledge of Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley Hardware and Software development Platforms, as well as Wonderware System Platform/Intouch. Your primary responsibility will be to support the startup of a new filling line that was built using Rockwell Automation software & Hardware and Wonderware System Platform. The software applications running on this line include one SCADA application, three HMI applications, and seven large-scale PLC applications. Your responsibilities will range from serving as the principal automation engineer during the startup phase, extracting technical data, supporting development of training manuals and procedures, performing startup testing and troubleshooting, walking down I/O and P&ID drawings, assisting the team during validation protocols execution, to creating and revising lifecycle documents.
Hard Skills
Experience with Rockwell PLCs
Experience with generating and supporting CQV protocols
cGMP experience coming from Pharma
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Durham, North Carolina.
Work Environment
You will be working at a medical device/drug product manufacturer in Durham. The work environment is high volume with 2 fully functional automated packaging lines, chem way process. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8-5PM, with occasional weekend work. All work will be on-site.
