Here’s the Gist:
We want you to apply your relevant expertise to a challenging work environment where you can make a real difference in the day-to-day operations of a high-tech electronics and semiconductor manufacturing operation. You will be able to solve complex problems with little supervision, allowing you to make decisions on how and when a project is completed.
The Day-to-Day:
- Respond and troubleshoot various types of alarms including, Temperature, humidity, air/water pressures, and water levels etc.
- Respond to emergencies such as water leaks and power issues.
- Starting/Stopping equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handlers, exhaust fans, and generators.
- You will be able to solve complex problems with little supervision, allowing you to make decisions on how and when a project is completed
- Monitor and maintain plantwide systems. Understand when an issue is occurring knowing how to resolve it.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):
- Must have a highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Electrical and mechanical experience is a must, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; write routine reports and correspondence.
- Knowledge or experience in lubrication, pneumatics, piping/plumbing repair, HVAC fundamentals, belt replacement, electrical schematics or troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Possess a valid US driver’s license to operate motor vehicles
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Ability to work in repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists
- Standing or walking over hard concrete surface and climb ladders
- Ability to wear fall protection if required
