Job Description

• Automation and Functional(Manual) testing : need to be skilled in both but heavier automation

   - AWS experience

   - Agile Core (they need to participate in ceremonies and be okay with rolling out demo presentations to the team)

   - App or Browser testing within Mobile testing or simulators

   - The Framework is already built on using Selenium and Junit but they need Selenium/Cucumber for web automation and Postman for API automation. Even though framework is already built they still need to be have experience creating/building framework from scratch

   - They need to be able to write their own queries

   - The company has hybrid apps so they use Apium

*Job: ongoing application that has released a few phases in the market and needing to add people to reach the deadlines. Complex applications, responsible to test all of them. Reporting to a lead.

*Company has a complex app that has a UI part, Batching and backend API. Has upstreams, downstreams and how it feeds and extracts data.

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

* 5+ years of experience as a QA Analyst/SDET

* 5+ years of experience in all aspects of functional testing across a broad set of technologies, including cloud technology, container based micro services for sub-UI testing, RESTful service testing, thin-client testing (html/Angular), database testing, virtual service stub testing, and more

* experience with Agile methodology

* experience in QA automation development and scripting

* experience in developing UI and Sub-UI based scripts with tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Rational Integration Tester, Visual Studio, UFT, custom code, and more

* Expert knowledge in Test Plan and Test Case development

* Expert with Mobile App testing

* Deep knowledge of user story to test case translation with methods like Gherkin/Cucumber or equivalent

* Familiar with common test automation tools including but not limited to:

Selenium, Appium, Cypress, UFT, Rest Assured, Karate, Maven, Jenkins, Git etc.

* HP Load Runner, MS Visual Studio for Performance Testing Automation

* IBM Rational Integration Tester, Soap UI, Postman for API Automation

* MQ Series

* ETL, DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server validations

* Familiar with the following for test automation tasks:

Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL

• CI/CD

• Needs to be able to create framework from scratch - using Java and framework is built using selenium and Junit null
