We are responsible for an asset management service to transform device lifecycle at Apple and dramatically enhance employee experience. In addition, to provide our employees with accurate asset tracking and comprehensive reporting, we have built extensive systems integration which allows us to automate the processes from device ordering to their return. We’re looking for an experienced platform engineer to help craft the future of this global platform and service.
Key Qualifications
Experienced Platform Engineer
Technical understanding of systems integrations
Functional knowledge of IT Asset Management and device lifecycle
Experience with global multi-functional teams and programs
Passionate about designing and delivering excellent employee experiences
Description
You will be working on a small, diverse, global and highly cross functional team who collaborate on this program. We are connecting many internal systems (both built and bought) to connect the dots of device lifecycle - from onboarding a new device, through supporting, refreshing and returning. Our goal is to make it an excellent employee experience, at every stage. Day to day the work is incredibly varied, includes but not limited to: Onboarding new internal users (gathering requirements, designing, developing, testing, training, go-live and support) Governance and compliance (meeting and documenting security, legal and privacy requirements) System Administration (configuration, support and maintenance of the platform - we use a product called Oomnitza) * Product Management (user surveys, technical feasibility studies, feature enhancements, vendor management) and more!
Education & Experience
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Additional Requirements
Any experience using Oomnitza Asset Management tool would be an advantage.
Our team is also responsible for the corporate MDM (Mobile Device Management) service. Certification, experience or knowledge in this domain would be a bonus.
