Here’s the Gist:

As a Physical Security Access Specialist, you will be a member of Wolfspeed’s Global Protection team and provide critical services to our internal customers and stakeholders.  This position is responsible for fulfilling global physical access requests, including ensuring employees are properly vetted, trained and qualified prior to provisioning access requests while confirming compliance with all regulatory programs.  The Physical Security Access Specialist provides critical support in safeguarding the company’s people, property, and information across the Wolfspeed enterprise.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Efficiently and successfully process customer request related to access control
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in all access control and service request matters
  • Oversee badging operations for new hires across multiple Wolfspeed sites
  • Oversee and maintain accurate records associated with customer access requests
  • Other duties and/or assignments as designated by Global Protection leadership

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • Minimum of 1-2 years working in the security field
  • Experience with physical access control software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time and task management skills
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to operate with limited supervision and make independent decisions
  • This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations
