Red Hat Senior Engineer - Validated Patterns in Durham, North Carolina
In this role, you will be working on developing multi-product based architectures with a team focused on next generation solutions. From the modernization of data centers into the hybrid cloud, to edge-based architectures in telecommunication, manufacturing, automotive, and any number of vertical markets.
Unlike paper architectures, you’ll be working with the latest open source development and automation projects to ensure these are backed by GitOps repositories for automated deployment into labs and demo environments, as well as CI to prevent them from rotting as new product versions are released.

What you will do:
Work on a variety of technologies that involve multiple Red Hat and partner products.
Work with a team focused on use cases integrating multiple products
Develop configurations based on customer successes and product capabilities.
Patterns include
Architecture diagrams
Install guides and configuration
Solution demos and blog posts
Configuration-as-code repositories deployed using a GitOps model
Automation for setup and validation via CI
What you will bring:
A history of delivering solutions that span multiple products in order to solve customer problems.
A passion for solving complex architecture problems and learning new skills
Ideally be able to work Hybrid in Raleigh NC, Durham NC, Boston MA or Lowell MA
Proficiency with some of the following technologies: Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, Tekton, Kustomize, Ansible
A willingness to dig into technologies as required, including AI models, application servers (JBoss), message buses (RabbitMQ, AMQP), and virtualization platforms (RHEV, OpenStack)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Able to effectively collaborate with remote teams - architects, QE, docs, support.
Experience working on projects developed or deployed in the cloud. (AWS, Azure etc.)
Familiarity with modern development processes - DevOps, GitOps, DevSecOps etc.
Knowledge of Open Source development practices and community engagement
The salary range for this position is $111,260.00 - $183,580.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
