This role requires strong leadership, communication, and compliance skills to purchase vehicles, schedule maintenance, optimize routes, manage drivers, and ensure exceptional service delivery. Utilize fleet data to optimize fleet performance Manage vehicle licensure and registration Personnel Management: Coordinate with Operations Supervisors to train new Service Technicians, including pre-trip checklist training and DOT requirements. Assist in training new Drivers. Develop methods to decrease costs and improve efficiency in transportation operations Have an understanding of all DOT requirements. Provide regular reports to management on budgeting, maintenance, and fleet progress.
