Temporary-to-hire opportunity; with excellent attendance and performance, you have the opportunity to be hired on with a company that offers excellent Full-Time benefits! This is a company that has been manufacturing premier safety lighting for first-responders, industrial workers, and for military purposes for 50 years.

This position is completely onsite, working remotely is not a possibility.

Available Shifts and Pay:

2nd Shift: 3:30pm-12am

*Pay: * $17.85 per hour

What’s a typical day as a Service Data Entry Clerk? You’ll be:

• Accurately entering customer contact information, such as name, address, phone number, and email address.

• Verifying any incomplete or illegible customer supplied contact information.

• Accurately recording the products and quantities received in each shipment.

• Alerting the Supervisor of any special or unusual requests.

• Pulling up computer records for status inquiries.

• Relaying status to customers via phone.

• Filing Service Records, Service Quotes, and related paperwork.

• Retrieving filed records when requested.

• Purging files periodically for storage.

• Assisting Supervisor with assigned tasks.

• Maintaining a neat and orderly work area.

• Adhering to company policies and practices.

• Following safety rules and common sense safety practices.

• Keeping Supervisor aware of problems and schedules.

• Interfacing effectively with others.

• Participating in sound quality practices.

• Performing other duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Have five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Have data entry experience and typing skills.

• Have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Have the ability to apply basic arithmetic functions.

• Are computer literate within company provided software systems.

• Have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out multiple step instructions.

• Are able to stand, use hands, talk, and hear for extended periods.

• Are able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Are comfortable working in a moderate noise level environment.
