Living Legends Health Activities Aide in East Aurora, New York

Activities Aide

SHIFT: Part-Time & Full-Time (9 am - 5 pm), including weekends rotationally

STARTING RATE: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Activity Aide Assists the Activity Director in developing and implementing planned monthly activities and daily activity schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Activities Director in carrying out the activity programs for the residents, families, and public

  • Maintain activities records

  • Transport residents to and from various activities

  • Assist in a variety of fun and engaging events that help to create a more energetic atmosphere for our residents

  • Greet families and guests as they enter the facilities

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

  • A valid and clean driver's license is required

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holiday

  • Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable

  • Strong customer service skills and compassion
