Aerotek Electronics Assembler in East Aurora, New York

Job Title: Electronics Assembler

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret work orders, production drawings, and sample assemblies to accurately assemble panel parts.

  • Follow both written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks.

  • Safely use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

  • Position and align parts using jigs, fixtures, or other devices to ensure proper assembly.

  • Perform various joining techniques, such as crimping, riveting, welding, soldering, and more, to secure parts.

  • Mount electrical components (e.g., transformers, resistors, capacitors) onto chassis panels.

  • Install and secure finished assemblies into external hardware or cases.

  • Attach and secure hardware components, including caps, clamps, knobs, and switches.

Work Environment

  • Clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled, and static-controlled workspace.

  • Quiet environment with manageable humidity in certain areas.

  • Work primarily performed at a bench with close supervision and collaborative team effort.

  • Rotating shift schedule with 9-hour workdays from Monday to Thursday, and alternating 8-hour or no work on Fridays.

  • First Shift : 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM. $18.50/hr

  • Second Shift : 3:30 PM - 12:45 AM. $20.35/hr

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00
