Our client, a family-owned real estate and property management firm, is seeking a Controller to oversee their accounting department. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor an accounting team of four, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.

• Develop budgets and forecast lease revenue to support strategic decision-making.

• Work closely with the CFO on operational and financial initiatives.

• Oversee hands-on operational accounting for multiple entities.

• Drive efficiencies and ensure accuracy in financial processes.

Requirements

• A strong foundation in public accounting.

• Extensive experience in real estate and commercial property management.

• Proven expertise in managing multiple entities.

• Hands-on operational accounting skills.

• Familiarity with Sage 300 (Timberline) and Yardi is a plus.
