Position Overview

The main duties include:

    Perform advanced NDT field inspections based on customer requirements and procedures and JANX field procedures.
  • Develop, maintain, and foster relationships with existing and new clients to support and promote business development for all advanced services for JANX.
  • Direct, plan, and manage the daily operations of the Advances Services Department and ensure adequate coverage of all applicable projects is maintained.
  • Coordinate pre-job planning activities including personnel selection, verification of qualifications, equipment selection, equipment testing and set up and client specific requirements.
  • Coordinate mobilization to project site including personnel communications, equipment coordination, and travel planning.
  • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and job sites to verify safety and to ensure that technical specifications are met.
  • Responsible for providing the necessary leadership to plan, organize, assign tasks, direct, coordinate, and control the field operations to meet all necessary client requirements.

Education and Work Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of experience in NDT industry is required
  • Training in NDT Advanced Services required such as Pipeline Integrity, Phased Array, GUL, UT-SW and other advanced NDT methods.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Certificates and Licenses Required
  • Ability to be certified in accordance with JANX SNT-TC-1A in a Level II certification in UT, RT, MT, VT, UTT, and /or PT.
  • If applicable to the project, ability to be certified in accordance with JANX SNT-TC-1A in a Level II certification, industry certification or training certificate in UT-SW, Pipeline Integrity, Phased Array, Laser Scanning, Corrosion Mapping, and / or Guided Wave Testing.
  • Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program
