Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our advanced manufacturing facility. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, welding and fabrication skills, and experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, centrifugal pumps, diaphragm pumps, mixers, overhead cranes, and lighting systems.

• Read and interpret blueprints to guide repair and maintenance tasks.

• Utilize cutting torch and plasma cutter for various fabrication tasks.

• Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on gearboxes, hydraulics, and pumps.

• Execute welding and fabrication tasks using stick, mig, tig, and torch methods.

• Align motors and pumps accurately.

• Install welded, threaded, and PVC piping systems.

• Operate basic shop equipment such as drill presses, stationary band saws, and pedestal grinders.

• Understand and apply mechanical fundamentals, including mechanics, lubrication, and power transmission.

• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and work off of blueprints.

• Arc welding experience.

• Experience with cutting torch and plasma cutter.

• Motor/pump alignment experience.

• Installation experience with welded, threaded, and PVC piping.

• Industrial fabrication experience.

• Basic knowledge of rotary valves and dust collector systems.

• Understanding of basic rigging principles and equipment.

• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• 5+ years of experience as a mechanic in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $63107.20 - $69118.40
