Robert Half HR Manager in East Hanover, New Jersey

Description

We are in search of a skilled HR Manager to join our team based in East Hanover, New Jersey. The role entails a wide range of HR responsibilities, including managing employee relations, administering benefits, and implementing HR policies. This role will be critical in ensuring that our team of 100 employees, including support staff, clinicians, and office staff, are supported and managed effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all HR operations, excluding payroll, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal regulations.

• Manage a standalone HR role, providing support to all employees within the facility.

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the company.

• Lead the administration of employee benefits, including healthcare and other company-provided perks.

• Handle employee relations and perform investigations when necessary, ensuring a harmonious work environment.

• Maintain accurate records of all HR-related data in our Human Resources Management System.

• Stay updated on HR trends and changes in laws applicable to the healthcare industry.

• Coordinate with different departments to streamline HR processes.

• Utilize HR administration skills to manage, develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Human Resources within a standalone capacity

• Previous experience in Healthcare or Non-Profit Industry is required.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

• Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Strong understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
