First Choice Health Centers is seeking a skilled Data Analyst/Report Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, documenting, and supporting standardized and customized reports from the Center's information databases. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data quality, supporting internal business reporting, and enhancing automation and efficiency for the Center.

  • The salary range for this position is $75,000- $87,000/Annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience certifications, etc.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Bachelor's degree in business analytics, statistics, mathematics, information technology, information management, or technology management

Experience and Training:

  • Minimum two years of experience as a Data Analyst/Report Writer
  • Experience working in a health care organization required
  • Strong knowledge of population health management initiatives such as Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and HEDIS
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret healthcare data and effectively present highly sophisticated analysis and findings
  • Demonstrated ability presenting to small work groups on both technical and functional requirements
  • Experience with electronic health record software highly desired

Standard Job Duties:

  • Perform basic statistical analysis on reports and data objects; Elicit, document, and analyze reporting needs and requirements. Assess data and reporting solutions to identify business impact, address correlations/discrepancies, and suggest changes or alternate solutions.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of core performance indicator data to ensure the Center's quality performance is accurately tracked and reported to management.
  • Gather specifications for user report needs, supporting department information requirements by designing reports, coordinating data extraction, and collaborating with vendors for system modifications when necessary.
  • Develop comprehensive reports, graphs, and presentations on operational outcomes and project results, including dashboards. Ensure completeness and accuracy of report specifications.
  • Take ownership of both conceiving and writing necessary reports-develop new reports as requested by management to deliver timely and accurate information for decision-making.
  • Participate in application validation and QA efforts related to reporting, data, metrics, and report creation.
  • Serve as the organization's electronic health record (EHR) subject matter expert, providing troubleshooting and coaching support to end users. Act as a backup trainer in the absence of the eClinicalWorks (eCW) Training Specialist.
  • Build and maintain the Center's MS 365 SharePoint collaboration software.
  • Collaborate with report requestors to clarify and evaluate requests, offering lternative solutions where necessary, including non-automated reporting options.
  • Assist in audits by coordinating with other departments, gathering evidence, and submitting annotations.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to data integration and management, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency across systems.
