What You Will Do

• The Pratt & Whitney Quality Engineering Development Program (QED) is a two-year development program for engineering graduates with three 8-month assignments.

• At the conclusion of this program and 300+ hours of technical training, graduates assume full-time positions as Quality experts in one of our U.S. based production facilities.

What You Will Learn

• The program is designed to expose you to the challenging world of aerospace quality. Bridging several diverse technical sub-disciplines - Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Program Quality, Materials Review and Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma, participants get in-depth exposure to commercial and military engine technical problem solving, industry and regulatory compliance strategy, and enterprise quality practices.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Qualifications We Prefer

• Preferred fields of study are Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering with a strong interest in Quality and Manufacturing

• Ability to work with all levels of management, shop personnel and outside vendors

• You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office programs

• You work independently or with multi-functional teams

• You have strong project management skills

• You have had an introduction to quality principles and tools

• You have a minimum GPA of 3.0

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
