Insight Global Installation Project Manager in East Hartford, Connecticut

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Installation Project Manager to join a manufacturing and renewable energy company that specializes in Hydrogen Fuel cells. The ideal candidate would be located in the Hartford area of Connecticut and would be open to periodic travel for week long periods. The Installation Project Manager is responsible for scoping, estimating, project planning / management and field overview to support customer installations of fuel cells. Responsible for trusted and timely deployment and execution of the installation plan. Assures full support of all assigned installation requirements are met, including delivery of those services/installation processes, and the clarity and timeliness of the overall installation process. Works to verify accurate and timely procurement, delivery and deployment of required services, materials, parts and installation services required for the installation(s). Cross-functionally coordinates assigned activities, needs and project/program progress across sales, engineering, test, supply chain, finance and quality organizations.

Skills and Requirements

-Experience as a construction manager with direct experience as a manager of projects over 1 million dollars

-Has customer facing experience in the construction industry

-Experience reading blueprints, redlining blueprints, scoping, bidding, and relationship management -Engineering degree (Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical)

-Finance/ Sales experience

-E1/E2 or understanding of 480-volt work

-Excel or Oracle exp null
