Overview

Laundry Systems Tech Specialist Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Primary responsibility includes installation and maintenance of laundry technology equipment. This is an entry level role.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Conversion of on-site payment systems

  • Respond to client inquiries concerning system operation and diagnoses of system hardware failures

  • Install, program and assist our service department in maintaining the Point of Sales (POS) systems (ESD, Heartland)

  • Install, program and assist our service department in maintaining the Laundry monitory systems (LaundryView, checkmywash)

  • Networking (running cabling and termination)

  • Install and/or assist service personal in installation of hardware

  • Other duties as assigned by Laundry Systems Technology Manager

What we’re looking for

Required Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; and <1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Effective oral and written communications.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Able to work flexible hours

Special Requirements, Licenses, or Certificates:

  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Efficient record keeping skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy warehouse and delivery environment

  • Ability to safely operate a forklift

  • Experience with small and large power tools

  • Experience installing large appliances (preferred)

  • Plumbing and/or electrical knowledge a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Specific physical demands may vary based on assigned geography or equipment

  • Must be able to lift up to 35-100 pounds and will frequently work in a variety of environmental conditions (both weather and non-weather related)

  • Push and pull hand carts loaded with washers and/or dryers and/or air machines

  • Ability to maneuver in restrictive areas; often squatting, kneeling, crawling and reaching overhead, while lifting, holding and maneuvering tools or service parts weighing from 20-50 lbs.
