Position Summary

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor of Health Programs for a 12-month fixed term faculty position, with the intention of renewal after this period.  We currently have 3 locations in the greater Lansing area providing outpatient primary care to our community, while also reaching and precepting our medical students and residents. MSU is the only university in the country with on-campus medical schools graduating allopathic and osteopathic physicians, as well as nurses and veterinarians.  In May 2022, the University accepted their first class to the new PA school.  The faculty and staff at MSUCOM Department of Pediatrics are part of a collaborative healthcare delivery system that has earned an exemplary reputation for caring for children with complex healthcare needs.  When not providing direct patient care, our physicians work with the greater College and University community, including various committees, teaching for both medical schools and residents, quality improvement practices and research opportunities.  COM teaches first and second-year students at its main campus in East Lansing, as well as campuses in Macomb and Detroit Medical Center.  Our providers also serve as preceptors for the Sparrow UofM Health System Pediatric Residency Program.
