Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Audit Manager - Public in the Accounting Software Systems industry. The position is located in East Lansing, Michigan, United States. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing auditing processes, managing audit engagements, and developing audit plans.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the execution of audit programs in accordance with the industry's best practices.

• Managing multiple audit engagements, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.

• Utilizing expertise in Accounting Software Systems such as CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax to enhance auditing processes.

• Developing and implementing audit plans to ensure compliance with budget processes and accounting functions.

• Regularly reviewing and updating auditing procedures and practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Collaborating with team members to ensure thorough and accurate audits.

• Utilizing strong knowledge in Auditing to identify and address potential risks and issues.

• Communicating audit findings and recommendations to senior management and clients.

• Ensuring all audit documentation and reports are accurate and comply with applicable standards and regulations.

• Continually improving knowledge and skills in the field of auditing and Accounting Software Systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing audit engagements and audit plans.

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems such as CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax.

• Solid understanding of accounting functions and audit programs.

• Extensive knowledge of auditing principles and practices.

• Capable of managing budget processes efficiently.

• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated leadership skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA Required.
