Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Audit Staff II in EAST LANSING, Michigan. As an integral part of the team, you'll be tasked with a variety of auditing duties in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with team members to enhance audit processes and procedures
• Participate in audit planning and risk assessment activities
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and regulations
• Support the team in the execution of audit programs
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies
• Assist in the completion of special projects as required by management
• Engage in training opportunities to stay current in the field of auditing.

Requirements • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• Prior experience in an auditing role is essential.
• Proficiency with audit software and other financial analysis tools is needed.
• Comprehensive understanding of audit processes, methodologies, and standards is necessary.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion is crucial.
• Exceptional focus on details and accuracy is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks are required.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues is necessary.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is required.
• CPA certification or progress towards obtaining it is a plus.
• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices is necessary.
• Flexibility to travel as the job may require occasional travel to client sites is needed.
• Strong ethics, with a commitment to adhering to standards is required.
