Clinic Operations Administrator

Position Summary

The Clinic Operations Administrator will collaborate with Practice Managers, Clinic Managers, providers, staff and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality patient care, efficient operations, and compliance with HCI policies and by-laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the clinics aligned with the organization’s mission, vision and goals.

  • Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, patient safety standards, and HCI policies and procedures including high reliability requirements.

  • Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities for performance improvement and implement initiatives in partnership with Managers of clinics to enhance patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, staff wellness, and financial performance.

  • Provider Engagement: Work collaboratively with clinic Providers. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to promote professional collaboration and development.

  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for outpatient clinics, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to optimize revenue and control costs.

  • Patient Experience: Champion initiatives to improve the patient experience, including access to care, appointment scheduling, and patient education.

  • Technology and Innovation: Evaluate and implement technology solutions in partnership with digital strategy committee to enhance clinical workflows, improve efficiency, and support evidence-based practice.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative and transparent work environment by communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, staff, patients, and community partners.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in a business-related field or in a field which corresponds to the particular department of employment; eight or more years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in office procedures and administration, or in performing responsibilities related to the operational activities of the employing unit; experience in a supervisory role; experience with word processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation software and/or desktop publishing, web page software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
