Position Summary
The Department of Psychology at Michigan State University seeks applicants for non-tenure track instructor/assistant professor positions for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 academic years. The primary responsibility will be teaching undergraduate courses in Psychology in person. Possible subject areas range from introduction to Psychology to various subfields in psychology such as social and personality psychology, health psychology, developmental psychology, clinical psychology and community psychology. These are academic year, fixed-term appointments subject to annual review.

Required Degree
Doctorate -Psychology or related field
Minimum Requirements
Positions at the instructor level require a Master's degree in Psychology or related field by date of hire.
Positions at the assistant professor level require a Doctorate degree in Psychology or related field by date of hire.
Desired Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field.
